Mike Davies MIFireE was a serving fire officer for 30 years.

He has worked in three Fire Authorities, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Nottinghamshire; his senior appointments include Brigade Training Office, Divisional Commander, Head of Forward Planning and Brigade Senior Operations Officer.
He was also seconded to the Home Office as an Instructor at The Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh.
Mike was a founder of The Fire Officers' Association, a national organisation representing senior and middle managers in the Fire Service. He was President of the Association for 5 years and served on many Home Office Committees and Working Parties.
