Fire Warden/Marshall Training

This course is specifically designed for those who have been or will be appointed to carry out the duties in connection with Fire Safety. What to do and how to manage people to a place of safety in an emergency or fire situation.

AIM OF THE COURSE

To foster a greater appreciation of Fire Awareness and Fire Safety Procedures in the work place and to enable the nominated Fire Warden to be efficient in their ongoing roles and to become more effective in emergency situations.

WHY DOES YOUR ORGANISATION NEED FIRE WARDEN TRAINING?

Because in the event of a fire, trained fire wardens are essential in minimising risk of serious injury or death.

WHO PROVIDES YOUR TRAINING?

All our instructors are fully qualified members of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE). All courses are certified and comply with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the associated Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.

By far our biggest consideration in having an onsite visit is you having the local knowledge of the site and staff numbers (i.e. Fire exit points, Fire doors, Fire Fighting Equipment, Emergency routes/corridors assembly points etc.)

Having local knowledge of persons in remote areas or with physical or sensory disabilities.

Concise knowledge of your emergency plan and fire safety policy (and where it’s kept).

General fire safety awareness amongst staff members.
